There are 4 ways of getting involved: 1. Book a visit for your school. 2. 'Design a banner' competition. 3. 'Design a musical instrument' competition. 4. 'Open for all music and making' workshops. ______________________________________ 1. Book a visit for your school. Ideally, we would like to visit your school twice, once before summer half term and once after, closer to the parade, 7th July 2013. We can do a short visit (during an assembly) or we can offer a longer interactive presentation. For both, there is no charge for the school. The presentations will be run by Louis Robinson and Dan Haywood.
2. Design a banner competition Please download the entry form from the bottom of this page. You can run the activity during school time or send the form in the children's book bags. Either way, we would like to receive the children's designs by 24th May 2013. The postal address is 19 Homer Street, Balsall Heath, B12 9RA. We would appreciate if the school could gather all returned forms and send them to us by post. Or we can can collect them when we visit your school. We have a great prize lined up for this competition. The children who win will be inviting his/her classroom to a guided visit to Birmingham City Council Waste center.
